Menifee is now one of the fastest growing cities in Southern California, with exciting additions to the community on the horizon. Here are a few new arrivals coming in 2019.
Krikorian Entertainment Center
Slated to open by next fall is a brand-new entertainment complex located near Menifee Town Center at Newport Road and Town Center Drive. Krikorian Entertainment Center will include a 100-by-54-feet theater screen, reportedly the largest in the state of California. The theater also will include reclining leather seats, as well as dining and drink services. Along with two new sports bars, the entertainment complex will host a 21-lane bowling alley, gaming area for laser tag and other fun activities.
The entertainment center joins the recently opened outdoor amphitheater in Central Park dedicated to the late Mayor Neil Winter.
Menifee Lakes Plaza
Anchored by LA Fitness, Menifee Lakes Plaza will soon have a few new businesses including Café Rio and Barons Market. In March, they also announced plans for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Waba Grill, Saporro Sushi and Blaze Pizza for the second phase of the shopping center.
A New Menifee High School
On November 6, citizens of Menifee voted in favor of the Measure W bond. With the now passed bond, funding will go towards a new high school in Menifee, career technical education classrooms at Perris High School, expanded physical education and athletic facilities and more.
