Old Town Temecula Farmers’ Market
On Saturdays, head to the farmers’ market in historic Old Town Temecula for an early morning shopping trip. Open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., this market boasts 80 vendors offering produce, eggs, fresh-cut flowers, specialty foods and artisan goods. This farmers’ market is about 15 miles from Centennial. Parking is on the street, so get there early if you can, then enjoy. With so many vendors, you’ll want to keep going back to try more things.

Murrieta Certified Farmers’ Market
Located roughly 12 miles from Centennial, Murrieta Certified Farmers’ Market is open on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On the smaller side, this farmers’ market is great if you like to take your time, stroll by each tent and look at everything. It offers fruits and vegetables, plants, gourmet goodies, food vendors and more. Tamales from the Tamale Guy are a favorite, as well as the beignets. Plus, there’s a craft section with jewelry, unique woodcarvings and other handcrafted items. It’s located at Village Walk Plaza, and there’s plenty of parking.

Canyon Lake Certified Farmers’ Market
If you want to go to the farmers’ market on Sundays, and stay a little closer to home, Canyon Lake Certified Famers’ Market is for you. It’s just over 8 miles west of Centennial, and is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays. Located in the Canyon Lake Towne Center, this market is full of vendors providing local goods and whole foods from boutique, backyard, and artisan growers and producers.

Vail Headquarters Certified Farmers’ Market
A little farther out is the Vail Headquarters Certified Farmers’ Market, 18.1 miles from Centennial. This market is held every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local farmers sell their goods directly to the public in this living historic park, including produce, flowers, eggs, honey, specialty foods and artisan crafts. There are even yard games for the kids. And, you can purchase train tickets inside the Cookhouse, and take a ride on The Little Vail Headquarters Train any time during the market’s hours.

Promenade Certified Farmers’ Market
Want to venture to a market during the week? The Promenade Certified Farmers’ Market is open every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Promenade Mall in Temecula. Just under 12.5 miles from Centennial, the market has 65 vendors offering fruits, vegetables, eggs, flowers, plants and more. There are local vendors with specialty food items, jewelry and other handmade goods. Plus, an all-natural dog food vendor so you can bring Fido a treat!

As California-certified farmers, they strive to bring you the highest-quality produce and foods each season. So, bring your friends and family, and get a taste of what the farmers’ markets have to offer in your community. However, please leave your pups at home.
